it's only been a few weeks since i last blogged n there seems to be so many things happening suddenly n i'm just too tired to for anything! right now all i wanna do is concentrate n give my all in preparation for the A'div Hockey Tournament, which is just around the corner! this period of time for me is probably the best n worst in my life... worst becuz it aint easy jugglin' schoolwork, hockey n my other commitments. i feel so stretched that whatever extra duties i take up, i gotta be careful i won't snap and break! time is definitely not on my side. but then, this period of time is when the team's at its peak in terms of skills n the bond we share (: its something i wish will never fade away. i'm just very contented with the team and i hope all our hard work will pay off! ok, dun ask me y i have to start of my entry moody and all... i think its just getting reality to knock on my own door. ok let's go on to smthg more interesting!

aint pipi the most adorable "baby" in this world? yes, she is and i daresay gen would agree to that a million times more than anyone else. now, apart from having to wreck our brains for a song to sing, the worst decision was the Group Name. i mean, it's so difficult to choose the right name without it sounding...

seriously, we thought of plenty but some fell into the above categories like "the munchkins", "hihi&pipi", "hipi" and the likes of it! oh please! in the end, when we were desperate n the deadline was smiling at us, we had to write down the most ridiculous name: 153.5 (ok i'll leave u here guessing wad it stands for tho its quite obvious n some alr guessed it. i really dunno how AJ's Ryan Seacrest is gonna introduce us if we even get thru the auditions) seriously, look at some names n (no offense) u'd feel like bursting into roars of laughter! when i read one: Sour Cream and Onion... i told pipi, "u noe wad, y didnt we name ourselves ORIGINAL FLAVA!" i was joking.

we practiced like a billion times! in the pool, in the room, in aj square, in the toilet, in the canteen... yeah so on n so forth. until we were so sick of that song! pipi, i dun tnk i can ever stand listening to More Than Words ever again! hahahaa! its a popular oldie.. pretty common.. but the word is "SAFE". plus harmonizing was a bonus. just wanna thank my hockey babes for all their support n they were so loud when they did the crazy cheer! hahaah! baby was happy too! n not forgetting the mamasans who supported us for the auditions too! altho some (whom i shall not mention) stuffed themselves with so much food they end up bloated n collapsed in a block 11 room instead of showing their physical presence at block 10! baby was so afraid! but i had faith she'll pull thru! i mean, her voice is brilliant! and so while doing our preview... qicai suddenly asked us to go inside the dreaded rm when we actually had 3 other grps b4 us! so we just went in hoping we'll blow the judges away!

judge1: u two should have chosen a more adventurous song. hope to see u sing more adventurous songs. (pipi who was hugging me already attempted to suffocate me)
judge2: u definitely can sing. individually, ur voices r powerful but u have to work on ur teamwork.
judge3 (ms zhu who finally closed her gaping jaw): nice. very nice. beginning a little shaky but u pulled off well.
i guess pi n i floated out... woohoo! finally over! after some time, ms zhu msged n said how proud she was of us! ahhhh! she's so sweet! right now, dun really feel a thing cuz like if we get in then ok its good, if we dun then we dun. results r comin' soon so it'll be interesting!


FIELD EVENTS
haha! went to school early in the morn n saw elly n fen! found out they had Javelin events! they made some funny joke abt javelin throwing! turned out they had to qualify first before anything. ahahah heard tt fen got 4th! now, where was i? i was the field judge for Discus. this is just sick! i mean, not only was i standing under the HOT SUN for 4 HOURS but i had to listen to this BASTARD barking away!! Discus starts at 9.30 and like it was barely 9am! so wangchin, jz n i sat on the stands to watch the track events! lili got 2nd for 100m! then this SICKENING SISSY NINCUMPOOP comes along using his loud haler and screamed, "why are the Discus judges sitting here?" n like that made the world looked at us n do u noe how embarrassing it was? n lucky i came up with a few good (and true) reasons then n there n i argued professionally with his DUMBASS EXCUSE FOR A BRAIN! im tellin' u man! tt !#$%^&* is such a PAIN IN THE NECK! i swear i nv wanna see his SHITHOLE FACE ever agn! grrrr im so angry at tt fella tt im capable of much more flowery words! ok lucky some funny incidents during the discus events sort of calmed my rage... for example... (im sorry but i have to say this) FEN'S BOYFRIEND!

WOAH! hahahahaahhahhahahahhahahahahaha!
although, many participants were unable to get their discus pass the qualifying mark, but at least they got it out of the discus cage! hahaahah! maybe he was distracted cuz not too far away was fen throwing javelin!


SECRET HOCKEY TRAINING
yes, at West Coast Park where the grass patches are wide n McDonald's is always inviting! i spent most of the time with elly cuz she's my partner yesterday! gosh! the stupid things we do when we're tgt! ahhahahaha! but the most priceless thing was when i hit to elly (who was standing next to a puddle of water) and the water splashed at her like someone accidentally turned on a sprinkler! i laughed so hard! sorry elly! we went like hitting all over the place! there was no patch of grass left untouched by us! n then we were getting bored... so we came up with a new game tt will not only force us to whack harder but improves our accuracy! we call it, "HIT THE TREE!" the aim is just to get the ball to hit to a selected tree. soon, we decided to do shots on target... but problem was, there wasnt any goals! so our attention came to a flock of birds.. a BIG flock of birds just randomly standing around each other... n so we each had to whack the ball real hard n see how many birds fly away! the more the better!

just as we wanted to stop training and head off, this pufferfish-bodied security guard screamed at us to stop hitting! n we were like criminals! we hurriedly grabbed our stuff n made a run for it! do u tnk some dude complained tt elly n i were deforestating? soon, we'll be banned by some National Board of Parks or something... oh, while having dinner at Macs, some of us found out a HORRIBLE TRUTH! Cheryl was in CHOIR in sec! WAHAHAHA! i shall not say anything.


life's been playing tricks on me n now im messed up inside. tnk i shldnt care. well, one more wk to go n tournament will officially kick off! this is like the final lap, girls! all the best! we'll overcome any obstacles together! lol!
